Asobi ni Ikuyo
9/10
Welcome back to Fan-Service Fridays we're gonna start this off with a good and fun one! Asobi Ni Ikuyo is about Eris a young Catian which is supposed to be an alien with super advanced technology but, lets be real it's just a person with cat ears and a tail.
Despite the less-than-creative idea to stick some ears on it an all it an alien; this anime is actually pretty good for the fan-service freaks and romance buffs Kakazu is our main character in his anime that the little alien girl follows around. With that Eris and Kakazu have all sorts of wacky adventures together going as far as pretty much turning his house into a Intergalactic Embassy for alien cat people. This anime does have a little bit of random action that gives it a little bit more on the comedy side because you know, theres gotta big a big fight in every anime just about. A little later into the series more of that Catians are revealed and you learn a lot more about them in general I'd say that the part they weren't lazy in was the back story they had for the Catians.
The strength of this anime is Eris in general she makes the show what it is and comes alive. She is the lead female and really stands out above pretty much everyone in the whole show though, I may end up catching some flak for that one since there is another character that is pretty likable that is the oh so lovable Kuudere. That being said I really like how deep they got into the Catians a little later on in the story but, I'm a story buff so that kind of thing makes me like it more in general. Even without those two the comedy in this anime is pretty strong with little reference to other anime just about anyone who can laugh can get the jokes and since this is the internet everyone loves cat jokes.
The only real problem with this anime is out main character Kakazu I don't know what happend but, I feel like he is the only character that looks really out of place like he belongs in a different anime. Now, maybe that was to make him easy to spot and I am being over analytical about it but, it made him stick out a little too much for my taste but, at least it wasn't like Yu-Gi-Oh level of sticking out. Other than that minor detail this anime is pretty fun to watch it has lots of humor, good fan-service, cat-girls, and some alright action. What else could you possibly want?
In conclusion, this anime is a fun thing to watch while you wait on your favorite shows or, if you are feeling down on your luck. I'm sure that Eris and her catty yet lovable personality will cheer you right up. As well as the rest of the cast of Asobi Ni Ikuyo (We're here to play!).
