Haiyoru! Nyaruko-san

This anime messes around with the Cthulu mythos a bit distorting them into being aliens that were misinterpreted at a early stage in human civilization!

Home to one of my favorite female characters in anime; this anime decides to mess around with the Cthulu mythos and has really good comedy involved. The story goes that a guy named Yasaka has a hit put out on him from outer space and is then protected by our lovable heroine Nyaruko in brutal fashion. Traumatized by her brutality he is unsure of what to think of her feelings for him. The anime follows their daily lives from this point on in which it makes many references to many different anime. If you have not watched a great deal of anime you may not get most of the references but, the show has enough of its' own original content to keep anyone on board for the entirety of the show.

The main strength of this anime is most likely Nyaruko herself which makes since considering the title is named after her. She is lovable, hyper, cute, and over the top for most of the anime though, there are a few instances she is heart wrenchingly sad. With that in mind she is a space police woman so she does have to do her job for the most part or, at least when she feels like doing it. There are some other characters that show up at some point to liven the house up and get in the way of her romance but, Nyaruko's personality trumps all of the other characters that may challenge her. Her chemistry with Yasaka is pretty solid as well.

Another strength of this anime is its' willingness to go outside the box I will admit there are times when the story did not make sense or, something really weird was written in but, it is creative even if it doesn't really fit so they get an A for effort on that. Even with these little mishaps the show can afford it due to its' absurdity that it normally boast in itself. I would say that this is probably a better starter than most if you want people to watch something bubbly and funny but, if they need more action in their lives this probably isn't something good to start them out on.

In conclusion, this anime is very similar to that of Gintama in the fact that it makes many references to many different animes that are popular. With Nyaruko as your main heroine you should expect to laugh a good bit and even if you don't get the references they mostly display where the reference is from in some shape or form so you can go watch it yourself at some point. With that in line I would say you should probably watch this anime when you get into waiting for your next episodes or seasons to come out as it is a good way to kill some time.

7/10 This anime is about Kusanagi Godoas a man who has slain the god of victory and acquired his powers. Ladies Vs Butlers

7/10 Being orphaned and sent to a rich kid school to end up a butler for one of the many various princess's of the world with their big money and all that sounds great right? Honestly, all I can really say is as fun as that sounds no thanks I wouldn't be able to stand how the women treat our protagonist Akiharu. Though, at least his childhood girlfriend is there so not all of them are terrible. Afterall, to be a super princess you have to be somewhat civilized right? In anycase this anime is definitely the fan-service type but, it is a lot more entertaining than most of them mainly because like out number one entry today  Asobi Ni Ikuyo  it has a lot of comedy that is pretty fun to watch in general. Blue Dragon

S1 9/10 S2 6/10 Blue Dragon is another action heavy anime that features Shuu in his quest to save the world from being taken over in both seasons. With S1 and S2 being so different in the ratings I'm here to explain why! We'll start with S1 since it is first. With S1 you are just getting to know Shuu as he takes on the empire that threatens the world. His first encounter with this empire is when they try to take over his village and try to kill him. Fortunately for him he is the holder of one of he legendary shadows known as Blue Dragon. During S1 you see him learn how to control his power over the course of it and even become friend with his inner demon much like Naruto except, having a giant Blue Dragon whoop ass for you somehow strikes me as cooler than becoming a neon light at a bar.
