Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan

This anime follows humanity after a widespread disaster leaves us a top floating cities.

Unfortunately I can't always give a good review but, whether you take my word on this one is up to you. This anime follows Kanata Age a notorious 'traitor' whom is ridiculed and rejected from society for basically the dumbest reason ever. He becomes the instructor to the worst class of fighters ever. To be completely honest Kanata is a really good main character and his writers simply failed him. He is surrounded by so many poor elements it literally breaks the anime. Be it from the side characters, the story, his situation, you name it it's probably wrong. The whole thing feels really clunky and if it wasn't for the fact that Kanata was in the anime it would literally have zero redeeming features. Kanata is actually good enough to keep me from pegging this any lower so if you ever want an example of a great character hindered by his story this is your anime.

Of the many weaknesses that this anime has its' biggest that I wound say is probably its' story line. I can't tell what they really wanted out of it because of how bad it was written. The story itself makes little sense and the little side romances are nice but it seems like they were just using it for the fan service to increase merchandise sales or at least that's what I would assume it was for. With that in mind many of the characters feel very incomplete almost as if they spent ninety nine percent of their effort on Kanata and zero on the rest. Even the final boss is pretty anti-climatic. Though, I guess they thought with how much of a badass that Kanata is they could just skate by on him. Kanata is easily the best fighter of the group out of any of the fighters in the entire anime even if his powers aren't necessarily well thought out which if you watch it you will see why I say that. Again, this is another failing on the writing to Kanata so he is not really to blame. He is probably the main character we want in every anime that has a wimpy main character as he does not fluster easily and is pretty smooth about how he talks his way out of things. 

In conclusion, this anime is not something I would recommend to anyone unless you were trying to get into writing/story-telling/anime making and then I would tell you to watch this for what NOT to do. I would never recommend this to anyone as a first timer and this anime should probably be put on the back burner if you were thinking about watching it before this review as there are far better animes than this one.
