My Hero Academia S1

Starting off with one I'm pretty sure everyone has heard about by now.

Oh my, where do I even begin on this one? This anime easily was one of the very best of it's season from the general characters to the story to even the music. It was fantastic! Though, I have to admit I am not a huge fan of Midoriya right in the beginning of the anime. His character was mostly whiny and personally I can't stand that but, I especially enjoyed watching him grow as a character throughout the thirteen episodes of the first season. My least favorite part of the whole thing was the fact I felt like I didn't get enough in the first go and that's generally a good problem to have in anything like this really. My favorite part was probably just All Might in general he was always such a badass even when it was meant for him to be funny. This anime is a great starter for anyone who would like to start getting into anime in general. It has a well-written story and a great cast of characters. It also was a very good rekindler for myself and that was why I decided to to My Hero Academia first over the abundance of anime's I could have picked. It even seems more timely so since the second season just started. The humor is pretty cut and dry but, it is genuine and is not forced or if it is it certainly didn't give that impression when I watched it.

So, on to Midoryia who is the main character of the series again, I didn't really like how whiny his character was in the beginning but, I will say I've never exactly had my whole dream crushed right in front of me by my idol before either so, I can't really egg him on pretty much losing his confidence in the world when All Might first told him to be a cop. But, considering that even in the intro to the anime it includes how recently the whole 'Quirk' thing has happened in the world I would say that being a 'Super-Hero' would be like becoming an idol in today's world. So, I'd probably say that his mom is partially to blame for that one but, who doesn't let their kid think they are a super hero or idolize them? Especially if someone like All Might is around. With that being said once he started on his journey to become a hero I have to admit that Midoryia was the most 'real' character out of anyone in the show being afraid of not doing well and then finding the courage to do something about it rather than lay down and take it. So despite my initial dislike of him he has most definitely proven to me he is one of the best main characters of newer anime's to date.



Now for All Might. First, look at that rage face^. The dude is a straight badass he seems really outlandish at first but, I'd say within the first few times you see the guy you already know his name rings true because, he is not just a physically strong hero he is pretty mentally strong too going overboard all the time to stand tall as the 'Symbol Of Peace' he just screams badass. Don't get me wrong I thought that Saitama(One Punch Man) was cool during this season of anime but, All Might took the cake I'm still re-watching the end fight in episode twelve when he goes to fucking town! I honestly felt after that like I respected him a lot more than even a bunch of American super-hero figures so I'm sorry superman fans but, All Might has you beat.

My Hero Academia is a VERY good anime and I would recommend it to anybody even if they had never seen anime before. The story makes you want more the characters make you want to learn more about them and hell even Arbys made a All Might ad don't believe me? Look it up on their twitter or mine. I also, would like to give a lot of credit to the people who came up with the different powers for the characters just like in One Piece they came up with a lot of different odd ball powers that are just great now. In conclusion I would LOVE to see My Hero Academia become the new big anime to replace Naruto since it just ended because, I don't think Boruto can beat his father out. 6.5 Not every review can be a good one and unfortunately this is just gonna be one of the bad ones I'm back for this Friday's review so let's go ahead and jump right into this one. Now I try to look at every anime with the same eye to make sure I grade them fairly on every aspect that I think about. Campione!

7/10 This anime is about Kusanagi Godoas a man who has slain the god of victory and acquired his powers. He has become a Campione and must fight other Campione to hope that he may survive this ordeal! Guess I'll start doing Fan-service Friday since this anime is fairly fan-service heavy aswell. Campione has one of the coolest theroies in an anime I've ever seen for it to be a ecchi anime. The idea is that when you kill a god you obtain their powers basically becoming that god; you can also kill other gods and obtain their powers aswell but, be careful you also inherit their weaknesses! This anime has an awful lot of fan-service as do many of the anime's that will be on Fridays' list. Campione has a weird way of mixing together combat and ecchi it's a bit of an awkward mix to be honest but this anime was underrated because of it. Blue Dragon

S1 9/10 S2 6/10 Blue Dragon is another action heavy anime that features Shuu in his quest to save the world from being taken over in both seasons. With S1 and S2 being so different in the ratings I'm here to explain why! We'll start with S1 since it is first. With S1 you are just getting to know Shuu as he takes on the empire that threatens the world. His first encounter with this empire is when they try to take over his village and try to kill him. Fortunately for him he is the holder of one of he legendary shadows known as Blue Dragon. During S1 you see him learn how to control his power over the course of it and even become friend with his inner demon much like Naruto except, having a giant Blue Dragon whoop ass for you somehow strikes me as cooler than becoming a neon light at a bar.
