Black Bullet

7/10 Welcome back once again to another review we'll jump right into this one. Now, Black Bullet is fairly underground and has a pretty small fan-base as far as I know (though I could be wrong). Much of that has to do with the fact it is just not very talked about and a lot of people have no idea what it is so, I'll fill you in. This is a story set in a post-apocalyptic world where our main man Rentaro is faced with many difficult decisions in his life. He is a public officer with a powerful little girl (Enju) that he thinks of more as a daughter than anything else. He knows that Enju's life will be short but wishes to bring her a world that she can enjoy without having to fight monsters on a daily basis. There is a lot of strength in the story telling for Rentaro which makes up for some of the lesser characters as it seems they may not have been that well thought out as some of them were simply uninteresting. 6.5 Not every review can be a good one and unfortunately this is just gonna be one of the bad ones I'm back for this Friday's review so let's go ahead and jump right into this one. Now I try to look at every anime with the same eye to make sure I grade them fairly on every aspect that I think about. Since this was a sort of spin off season of Dan Machi I was never really sure how to look at this show. The premise of it is that you're following the story from Aiz's point of view instead of Bell's. Which, is all fine and good but there was some serious lack of Bell in this show and unfortunately I don't think people got attached enough to Aiz for her to be on her own yet. Now, while I do think it was a good idea to maybe world build a tad on Aiz as to be honest she is a somewhat unlikable character based on the fact you as the viewer never really get to learn a lot about her.
