Campione!

7/10
This anime is about Kusanagi Godoas a man who has slain the god of victory and acquired his powers. He has become a Campione and must fight other Campione to hope that he may survive this ordeal!

Guess I'll start doing Fan-service Friday since this anime is fairly fan-service heavy aswell. Campione has one of the coolest theroies in an anime I've ever seen for it to be a ecchi anime. The idea is that when you kill a god you obtain their powers basically becoming that god; you can also kill other gods and obtain their powers aswell but, be careful you also inherit their weaknesses! This anime has an awful lot of fan-service as do many of the anime's that will be on Fridays' list.

Campione has a weird way of mixing together combat and ecchi it's a bit of an awkward mix to be honest but this anime was underrated because of it. Many reviewers gave it a horrible review and it is normally fairly hard to find all of the episodes in one place when Campione isn't really that bad it's actually pretty underrated. With that being said the strength of this anime is its' awkward combination of ecchi and combat. You would think having the power of victory would imply Godoas would win ever fight but, that is not the case. In fact most of the time his power is incomplete and he is just trying to learn to use it so many of the fights he does get into put him in grave danger so, he ends up relying on his female counter parts to help him out of a rut. Despite being a ecchi-heavy anime the fight scenes are really cool in this one so if you want to ignore the fan-service and just watch the fights do that. If you're into the fan-service it's an added bonus for you to the anime in general. While the story of this anime does appear shaky at times they manage to keep the writing stable enough to make you want to watch it the whole way through and maybe just maybe want a second season.

This anime's prime weakness is the lack of writing for its female characters. Many of them feel slapped together to be objects rather than actual characters as they all fall into predictable characteristics of a certain kind of character. Though, many anime's do that in general most have a better 'Dere' than this one does. That being said the characters are not unbearable they just lack a lot of necessary writing in order for there to be a bigger story in general so even if you want a Campione second season I really doubt we will get one and even if we did they would have to spend more time on the companions to the main character this time around and I doubt they would. Though, its' not like they don't have their own stories I just feel like it could have been more developed. Obviously the manga is quite different I haven't read Campione's so, they may have missed valuable information about each of the characters that's actually in the book. Another reason I would say that it probably won't get a season two is that a lot of the fans of the manga really didn't like the anime and that's why I think it probably won't get one.

In conclusion this anime has its's ups and downs but, it is bearable. It is a good anime to watch in between waiting for your favorites to come out every week or while you are looking for a new one to watch. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it unless you're running out of material though. Its' also not the anime I would recommend to a friend less they wanted some fan-service in their lives.

Thanks for reading as always remember to subscribe and share for victory!

I will be leaving the comments open for awhile to see how they go.
