Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou

9/10
With your job predetermined before you start to learn about how to be an adult its' easy to teach unless, the job is Demon Lord which is the job that Akuto Sai ends up with. Tensions rise and we'll get to see just how the Demon Lord starts from the bottom.

Daimaou is a pretty weird anime in the idea that your job is predetermined in the world for you by some magic. With that in mind no one would ever expect to have 'Demon Lord' pop up especially if your dream was basically to be one of the good guys. With Fan-service Friday this anime contains about as much Fan-service as you'd expect. Of course being the Demon Lord who cares if it's wrong? Akuto has a funny way of just accepting it just like "well I guess I'm a bad guy now?" kind of attitude which is funny but appreciative at the same time. Hell by the end of the anime he is totally embracing it by doing well Demon Lord things.

Becoming the Demon Lord obviously sparks some tension between him and his classmates at his school obviously poking fun at harry potter with the whole magic sorting thing it is understandable why the other classmates are not fond of him. Considering the damage that the other Demon Lord did many of the characters pretty much wanna kill him from the getco and probably should have but, this is a harem anime and that's just not how things work in a harem. You as the person who is watching the anime will end up learning far more about the people in the anime that the characters themselves which gives you some foresight on what everyone will do. I like the way they approached this by misleading their characters and not so much the person watching it.

The strength of this anime is that despite being a ecchi heavy anime its' comedy is really spot on making it one of the better underrated shows I've ever seen. I would have liked this one to get a second season but, I don't think that will happen considering it has a very final finale. As a person who likes to show new people to anime I would recommend this to anyone who could take a little of the ecchi stuff as the heavy duty ecchi stuff well...that comes later down the road. Most of those animes require many different animes being watched until you're just used to it and can kind of ignore it. But, if you are in it purely for the boobs this should still work out in your favor as there is plenty of that in this anime even without Akuto giving people a taste of demon lording.

In conclusion this anime is probably a safe bet to show your friends but it is also the anime that if you're living with your parents I guarantee they will walk in at the weirdest time. If you try to watch it with your girlfriend who isn't into anime she is probably going to think you're a sicko but, if none of those apply then I would definitely recommend Daimaou to anyone who needed something fresh to watch!
