I actually liked this anime as it is home to another one of those lovable demon girls that seem to pop up everywhere. This anime is surprisingly fresh as it went with an idea that I've never really seen before, which makes it easy to remember. Not to mention that its' characters are all fairly memorable and likable especially Fino which is the demon kings daughter that ends up working at the same place as Raul. Fino is the very reason I really liked this anime and remember it to this day; as you can see that this little demon isn't exactly a bad girl even when she tries to act like she is. Throughout, this anime Fino constantly relies on Raul for even the simplest of things including paying bills and living life in general. Their relationship progresses well throughout the show all the way up to the end which is nice. Also, a little bit of a forewarning there is a LOT of fan-service in this anime from start to finish so if that kind of thing ruins it for you I would look elsewhere. If you can look past that this anime is really great for a heart warming experience as you see the demon lord's daughter grow into a working member of society.
Yusibu is based around a appliance store and has a gamerish feel too it since everything is named a magic something but, it doesn't stay that way the whole anime. Actually, it takes an unexpected action turn about seventy five percent of the way through. So, even with the fan-service and the appliance store stuff happening you still get your kick ass in. This anime came out at a bad time right around when one of the One Piece movies came out so, it got swept under the rug. That and sometimes the fan-service is a a little over the top for a lot of people. When it's all said and done though this anime is well worth watching.
Yusibu's strength is Fino in general her personality is great and you can watch her grow throughout the twelve episodes and the one OVA and something about her smiling just makes you wanna smile. I would say that she is probably better than your average female protagonist just off of her personality alone. I also think that she has a very unique face in anime which is rare and hard to do I mean there are a lot of generic looking people in anime in general. Everyone knows what I'm talking about when I say that because, in most instances when you see a character that looks similar to another the lower class anime is trying to take advantage of the pre-existing ones popularity most of the differences you can tell between anime's is in the eyes. That's actually a pretty good indicator as to how good it will look because about ten percent of every anime's budget goes to their characters' eyes. Obviously that doesn't apply to every anime as some look plain as fuck and are still great anime even in the looks department. That being said Yusibu's staff does a great job of making most of their characters look unique making it pretty easy to remember.
A weakness is that the fan-service is so over the top that it will drive many people away. That and I think that this was a play to try and go off of "The Devil Is A Part Timer's" success in the anime industry and even though they did a pretty good job of pulling off a pretty similar job they got no recognition and little views. With that I do hope you decide to watch Yusibu at some point as it is a pretty good anime and though I believe we will not get a second season maybe if it gets enough push from us anime lovers we may get one.
